Music has many traditions, and Julian Joseph is a huge admirer of folk traditions from all over the world, including those at the heart of jazz and classical music.
His recent project offered a first glimpse of virtuoso Tabla master Alok Verma in Atmospheres in Audio Theatre. Now with their relationship firmly established, they delve into the potential of their complimentary and mutual traditions for more creative outpourings in their Silk Road Duet. Check out the birth of their new collaboration which is certain to be a huge attraction to World Heart Beat's November Festival.
