An alumnus of East 15 Acting School with a First Class Honours degree in BA Acting & Stage Combat, Lucy has gone on to Fight Perform for major companies including Marvel Studios, HBO and Netflix.
When not being thrown about, set on fire or swinging a sword around, Lucy Fight Directs and Choreographs for TV, Film and Theatre; some recent theatre credits include Poltergeist Theatre's Offie-nominated production of "Alice In Wonderland", Ballet Cymru's "Romeo A Juliet", Grove Production's "Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde" and Mutiny Film's "The Boot Room".
A firm believer that these skills should be made accessible to those who wish to learn them, Lucy regularly teaches and leads Stage/Screen Combat workshops. Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and bring water to keep hydrated!

How do we think our way into text and character? How do we move our way into them? This workshop gets you on your feet exploring practical ways to approach text and character that keep spontaneity, fun, specificity and emotional truth at the heart of the process - whether for audition, rehearsal or performance.
If you'd like, bring a speech or a scene (and a scene partner!) in a format you can annotate, as well as a pencil and eraser if you're bringing a paper copy. Assorted speeches and scenes will also be available on the day.
Open to all! There'll be time and space to practice the techniques during the session, and sharing your work with everyone else will be completely optional. Wear comfy clothes you can move around in.
