South London raised multi-instrumentalist, Genevieve Namazzi, will be bringing her exciting quartet of some of the finest young talents in London to St Mary’s Battersea on Friday 5th June. Known amongst friends and fans as 'GENTET', the 'Genevieve Namazzi Quartet' consists of extraordinary London-based musicians who perform a mixture of original compositions and jazz standards.
Doors open at 7:00pm, and the performance will start at 8:00pm.

Known for her successes in her bass and viola playing, Genevieve's versatility and charm has allowed her to perform with artists such as Robbie Williams, Clean Bandit, DON BROCO, Ni Maxine, Adam Betts, Chineke! Orchestra, and many others. She has performed in venues such as Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, London Stadium (Soccer Aid 2022), Amsterdam Concertgebouw, KKL Lucerne Festival, Berlin Konzerthaus, Royal Festival Hall, We Out Here, London Jazz Festival, Brick Lane Jazz Festival, KOKO, Soul Mama, Turner Sims, and Foyles to name a few.
As a composer, Genevieve's influences are a blend of encounters from her life, cultural heritage, classical background, and have been described as ‘uplifting’, ‘heartfelt’ and ‘groovy’. She is greatly inspired by musicians such as Tigran Hamasyan, Linda May Han Oh, Mark Guiliana, and Esperanza Spalding.
