Lania Hamilton presents a reading of her second play, Angel (Work-In-Progress).

"I watched an angel die on the hill."

The fever of late June. Something writhing in linen and long grass.
In witness of a small apocalypse, a make-shift ritual is performed: Tennessee Williams, a wallet's magazine cut-outs, second-hand desire, and transcendence is met by failing technologies of memory. Angel is a post-human fever dream, asking what the most human things we have to offer are.

A bricolage of heritage readings and new writing, the performance offers a repository of electronic desire and anxiety, contracting in a winking marvel of synthetic intimacy.
