Born and raised in Brixton, singer and harmonica player Errol Linton got his first break when heard by a BBC producer while busking on the London Underground. That was thirty years ago and Errol has been steadily building his reputation as a world-class blues talent ever since, culminating in his nomination for 'Best Blues Act' in the 2019 Jazz FM Awards (last year's winners were the Rolling Stones). Errol was featured along side Big Bill Broonzy in BBC 2's Arena documentary (Rhythms of the World) called 'Two Generations of the Blues' and has been championed by radio presenters John Peel, Robert Elms, Paul Jones, & Cerys Matthews. He has toured the world opening for artists including Screaming Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley, Dr John and Blind Boys of Alabama, and released five albums, including his latest, 'Live in London', recorded at the launch party for his last studio album, 'Packing My Bags', produced by Grammy-winning producer Liam Watson (White Stripes). This is home grown blues at its best.
