A striking theatrical tribute to maternal legacy and erased histories. Since the beginning of their relationship, artists Pablo Lilienfeld and Federico Vladimir have been amazed by their mothers' very similar lives.

From their shared name, to their heritage as children of refugees, in Monica Pablo and Fede study the intersection of their mother's journeys', following their parallel migrations from Argentina to Spain.

Using intimate personal archives including paintings, erotic photographs and video, the pair reconstruct both Monicas' stories as a multimedia telenovela. Blending dance and music with playful references to drag and cabaret, they present their mothers' shared experiences of war, migration, resilience and identity through a queer, non-traditional lens, offering a striking theatrical tribute to kinship and memory.
