James Fox, … Doors open at 7:00pm – Full Bar & Menu Available This evening we have live music from: 8:00PM TBC 8:30PM JAMES FOX 9:30PM TBC After being a London-based session musician and songwriter for many years, James had his first national break on BBC's Fame Academy. He then represented the UK at The Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. After signing to Sony Records UK, his debut single, 'Hold on to Our Love' reached number 13 in the UK singles chart and was followed by another Top 20 hit. His song "Landlocked" that he wrote with legendary lyricist, Sir Tim Rice, was the Official Poppy Appeal song in 2012. James has supported Tina Turner, Lulu, Wet Wet Wet, Natasha Bedingfield, Claire Teal, Michael Bolton and Will Young. James has had the honour of performing in front of Her Majesty The Queen three times. Twice at the Royal Albert Hall for The Festival of Remembrance, in recognition of him entertaining the British Armed Forces worldwide for nearly two decades and more recently at Windsor Castle to Celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday. James has received the Civilian Service Medal for his work in Afghanistan. James performed at the "A Life In Song, Tim Rice" concert at The Royal Festival Hall and regularly performs with Sir Tim at concerts around the UK. Theatre includes: Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (UK tour). The "Piano Man" in the Billy Joel musical Movin' Out on Broadway, West End and North American tour. The "American" in the UK, European and Canadian tour of the musical "Chess"."Paul McCartney" in "Let it Be" on Broadway, UK tour and in the West End. James has just released his third album of original songs, "Out in the World". You can listen to this on all major streaming platforms. This show is FREE entry however there are a limited number of advance tickets available (at no charge) that you can sign up for which will guarantee a seat (max 6 per table).
