Pianist Joe Webb has become a force to be reckoned with on the UK jazz scene. It was as a member of the Kansas Smitty's House Band, the swinging, mainstream jazz outfit dubbed London's 'new swing princes', that his profile reached new heights and since then he has gone on to work with the likes of Hailey Tuck, Adrian Cox & Jools Holland as well as appearing on Jamie Cullum's Christmas album. Joe's own 2024 recording 'Hamstrings & Hurricanes' was shortlisted for a Mercury Prize with the Times saying, "With his talent, Webb really could be the bearer of jazz to Gen X & beyond" and watch out for his latest trio album "Neath Beat" due out soon. Tonight Joe will be appearing with his wonderful quartet featuring the brilliant sax of Alec Harper.
