The 2022 winner of the Riga Jazz Stage International Jazz Voice competition, Louise Balkwill has been hailed as one of the finest jazz singers of her generation. Most recently touring with celebrated vocal harmony trio The Puppini Sisters tonight Louise will be celebrating the release of her brand-new album, "Chatterbox", a vibrant love letter to classic vocal jazz. Known for her dazzling vocalese, joyful stage presence and heartfelt storytelling, Louise brings her trademark warmth, wit and thrilling musicianship to the gig, with a collection of sparkling new compositions and fresh re-tellings of beloved standards. Recorded with Louise's long-standing all-star band tonight, she reunites with the musicians who brought the album to life: Jonathan Bauer-trumpet, Rob Barron-piano, Theo Malka-Wishart-bass, Joshua Walker-Martin-drums, and Special Guest: Ross Stanley-organ.
