Set between the world wars, the story takes place in the chaos, unease and growing nationalism of the Weimar Republic. People are not what they seem...and the supernatural is never far away. Featuring a cast of exciting singers and a chamber orchestra, this atmospheric production will feature visuals inspired by the 'dream factory' of German expressionist cinema. Join us for the UK staged premiere of an intense, musically rich horror story that has been neglected for 160 years.
