A workshop exploring the use of 'surrealism' on stage with a range of different approaches, focussing on 'Blue Mist' and 'Speed' as well as other plays to explore how you can subvert realism in a play to create drama. This session will look at how we can write to heighten or distort reality in theatre from dream-like sequences to looking at writers who look beyond naturalism.
