To mark 45 years of ground-breaking, rule-breaking theatre across 75 countries, legendary director, performer, teacher, creative maverick and provocateur David Glass brings the extraordinary four times immigrant family story to vivid playful life . From Avant Garde Berlin in the 1930's when his orphan Grandfather assisted Fritz Lang on the film Metropolis, to Bohemian Mexico in the 1950's when his mother mixed with Frida Kahlo and later lived with feminist Anis Nin in Los Angeles. Whilst his cousin, Philip Glass, reinvented modern music. David Glass as a boy making experimental films in the counterculture of LA in the 1960's, then as a magpie student in Paris, London and New York. Learning from the likes of Lecoq, Boal, Brook, Decroux and Barrault, Alfreds and Ailey. Then as a Artist working in 75 countries and teaching the likes of Simon McBurney, Emma Thompson, Stephen Daldry, Benji Reid, Gong Lee and many more. This is his Un-Naturalistic Life bridging through the 20th and 21st Century's story. This isn't a memoir. It's a theatrical Molotov. 12+ 75 mins
