In this interactive online course consisting of five weekly sessions, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions, you will learn tools and techniques to help you generate ideas for dramatic stories; create active complex characters; exploit space place and time in your work; write dialogue; structure scripts; and find the right theatrical form for your play. There will be opportunities to share your developing work and receive informal peer and tutor feedback. You will also receive tips on starting and sustaining a career as a freelance scriptwriter.
